Robb Barnes

Senior Vice President, Commercial – Crude Oil, Magellan Midstream Partners, L.P.

Robb BarnesRobb Barnes currently serves as Senior Vice President ("SVP"), Commercial – Crude Oil. He previously served as VP, Commercial – Crude Oil and Marine Terminals, for Magellan since March 2011. From 2007 through 2011, he served as VP, Terminals, and from 2003 through 2007 as Director, Marine Terminal Services. Prior to joining Magellan, he worked in various staff and management positions within marketing, business and commercial development, operations and environmental since joining The Williams Companies, Inc. ("Williams") in 1987. Barnes graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Operations Managements from the Univ. of St. Thomas in Minnesota.


Commissioner Wayne Christian

Commissioner, Texas Railroad Commission

Wayne ChristianWayne Christian was elected to join the Railroad Commission of Texas in November 2016. In 1987 Christian opened a financial services business. He is a three-time American International Group top adviser nationwide. In 1996 he was elected to the House of Representatives as the first Republican elected from Deep East Texas since Reconstruction after the Civil War. During his time in the House Christian was a leader for the conservative renaissance in the State of Texas and successfully assisted in the fight to elect a Republican majority in the Texas Legislature. During his time in the Texas House Christian served as vice-chair of Regulated Industries and as a multiterm member of the Energy Resource Committee. On these committees he had direct oversight of the Railroad Commission and accumulated a strong record of standing for free markets and against burdensome regulations. Christian graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a bachelor's degree in general business in 1973.


Steve Hoppe

Executive Vice President; President, Gas Business Unit, EnLink Midstream

Steve HoppeSteve J. Hoppe is Executive Vice President and President of the Gas Business Unit at EnLink Midstream. Mr. Hoppe has more than 30 years of midstream energy industry experience. In his role on EnLink's executive leadership team, Mr. Hoppe leads the company's Gas Business Unit, which includes operations in the Permian's Midland and Delaware basins and Oklahoma's midcontinent, two of North America's most-prolific oil and gas regions where EnLink is focused on rapid, strategic growth. He also oversees EnLink's natural gas operations in the Barnett Shale. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President of Midstream Operations for Devon Energy, which he joined in 2007. Prior to joining Devon, Mr. Hoppe spent eight years at Thunder Creek Gas Services, most recently serving as President. Mr. Hoppe holds a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Wyoming.


Brad Iles

CEO, Brazos Midstream

Brad IlesBrad B. Iles is an accomplished leader in the energy industry, with over 16 years of experience developing and managing midstream assets. He is one of the founding partners of Brazos Midstream and serves as Chief Executive Officer, focusing on the strategic direction and growth initiatives for the company. Mr. Iles has a proven track record of success and has been responsible for the development of over $2 billion in growth capital projects, including projects in gas gathering and processing, natural gas liquids, crude and condensate gathering and transportation, and other corporate level transactions including mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures. Prior to founding Brazos Midstream, Mr. Iles held various positions at EnLink Midstream (formerly Crosstex Energy). Most recently, he was Senior Vice President of Business Development, where he was responsible for all business development efforts for EnLink’s Natural Gas and Liquids Business Units. Mr. Iles earned a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Texas A&M University.
